AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) ? Marc Leishman is the surprising early leader at the Masters.
The 29-year-old Australian shot a 6-under 66 Thursday for a two-stroke lead over another unheralded player, England's David Lynn.
Leishman missed the cut in 2010 and is playing in just his second Masters. He surged to the top of the leaderboard with four straight birdies on the back side, starting at No. 13. Leishman came into the first major of the year after missing two straight cuts.
Tiger Woods is also off to a strong start in his quest for a fifth green jacket. He was three strokes off the lead at 3 under through 13 holes.
Jamie Donaldson hit the shot of the day, knocking in a hole-in-one at the sixth hole.
