Web hosting provider Windstream Business announced that it has launched Endpoint Security Protection by McAfee, providing a single solution to detect and block viruses, spyware, spam, phishing attempts, and hacker attacks.
The move comes a month after Windstream Business? hosting division Windstream Hosted Solutions?announced plans to construct a new enterprise-class data center in Durham, North Carolina, as well as?opened a new Mid-Atlantic data center in McLean, Virginia.

By partnering with a security solutions provider like McAfee, web hosts are able to differentiate their hosting services with an attractive value-added service designed for small businesses.
Windstream?s Small Business bundles will now include Endpoint Security Protection to provide small businesses with around-the-clock protection for PC?s and laptops.

The cloud-based management portal allows customers to deploy Endpoint Security Protection more quickly and less expensively.
Customers have control of customizing the level of protection by blocking websites and emails that contain malicious threats.
