While its not the Mayweather/Pacquiao boxing match fans want to see, this is the fight we have. Miguel Cotto believes he's in position to send Floyd Mayweather Jr. home with his first ever loss and surprisingly, some boxing experts agree with him. We'll see if Cotto's strength is enough to overcome Mayweather's speed and defensive prowess, but as usual, the story here is the fight that's not on the card.

NBA Playoffs
A knee injury to Chicago's Derrick Rose has significantly shifted the balance of power in this year's NBA Playoffs. While the Bulls suddenly have to try and win without their superstar, the triumvirate down in Miami is suddenly under even more pressure to get the job done with two of the Eastern Conference's best players (Rose, Dwight Howard) out for the season. Out west the early games showed it will be a battle no matter what seeds are matching up, your guess is as good as ours as to who will come out of that conference and vie for the title in a few weeks.

Beyonce on Kim Kardashian: Not a Fan!

Things might get a bit awkward in a few weeks.

With Kanye West and Jay-Z scheduled to go on tour, sources tell Great Britain's The Sun that the latter's better half is not a fan of the former's new girlfriend, a certain giant-breasted reality star.

“Beyonce’s not happy about Kanye’s relationship with Kim," an insider claims to the publication. “She had a conservative upbringing which was very different to Kim’s."

What, exactly, is it about Kim Kardashian that bugs Beyonce so much? Says the source:

“Bey’s never been impressed by her record with men." Well, yeah.

"And the sex tape that leaked a few years ago." Good point.

“Her 72-day marriage doesn’t exactly inspire her with confidence that she wants the relationship with Kanye to last either." Hard to argue with that.

Still, the women will need to make nice. West and Jay-Z will be touring Europe in May and June, with sources telling the newspaper that Kardashian has already lined up product launches around the same time in the area. She'll be there. So will Beyonce, it stands to reason.

Let's hope these two get it on because, let's face it: if they do, we all know who will be the survivor.

Woz: Windows Phone is 'beautiful,' Android 'no contest,' still loves iPhone, ask again tomorrow

When Steve Wozniak talks mobile, people love to listen. Last time we checked in, he was lauding some of Android's finer points, and now he's raining praise on Windows Phone. In an interview with A New Domain, the Apple co-founder was all too happy to share his recent positive experiences with the Espoo / Redmond collaboration. In particular, Woz waxes about how intuitive the interface is, and how naturally apps lead you around. He goes on to say how there's nothing he's seen that isn't more beautiful (than iOS and Android) on the Windows system, before claiming Android is "no contest" when it comes to the interface. It's not all lemonade and roses, however, as he then admits he's no fan of the voice control functionality compared to the other two platforms. When pushed to admit what he uses as default, it's still the iPhone -- two of them in fact -- but Woz's ability to see the best in all mobile operating systems will be sure to further confirm his status as one of tech's most liked. Twitter for Android gets another minor update

Twitter for Android has a small update in the Google Play store this evening, bringing it to version 3.2.1. The change log is short -- crashes for users that use the app in Dutch, Finnish, and Hungarian have been fixed, and the Indonesian language has been added. Grab the update from the Google Play store or hit the link after the break.

Yandex Q1 Earnings: Revenues Up 51% To $200.3M, Net Income Up 53% To $43M

Yandex, Russia's biggest search company, has posted Q1 earnings, with revenues up 51% to $200.3 million, and net income up 53% to $43 million. The results beat analyst expectations: on average analysts expected revenues of $194.64 million, with earnings per share of $0.15 (low $0.13; high $0.16), but other numbers may still give investors pause: Yandex's share of the search market in Russia, its largest market by far, is now at 59 percent against competition from Google and others: last year it was closer to 65 percent.

"In the Studio" marches on this week with yet another entrepreneur who on the surface seems too young to be a founder/CEO, until you peel back the layers and realize that he actually has a decade's worth of experience building web products, has built his own consulting services, has built sites that have been acquired for real sums of money, spent his nights in high school in a big city tech scene, invested his own earnings into startups (which mostly failed), and after immigrating to the U.S. to attend Y Combinator, is now leading a small team into the iPhone gaming market. I'll keep this post brief, mainly because I'd encourage everyone to really watch this video -- perhaps twice -- to really get a view into how an entrepreneur like Josh Buckley thinks. Buckley, who is currently 20 years old, began hacking on computers a decade ago, teaching himself basic programming languages, securing consulting gigs, and eventually going on to build products that were sold. At age 15, he made a larger sale, started traveling, and started investing in some of his friends ventures. Though he lost most of his invested money, he made one investment which gave him a view into Y Combinator.

Thomas Beatie Accused Wife of Crotch Assault

Thomas Beatie may be separated from wife Nancy, but the drama between the self-proclaimed Pregnant Man and his mate of nine years is far from over.

Based on court documents obtained by TMZ, Beatie has filed for divorce and claims in the papers that Nancy attacked him on various occasions.

In February of this year, for example, she allegedly cursed Thomas out and shoved him because he tried to stop her, while "visible intoxicated," from driving the couple's three kids to daycare.

"She hit me in the crotch," Beatie says on a 911 call made in regard to this incident.

A month before this encounter, Thomas says Nancy woke up and simply started punching him.

"This night, like every night, [Nancy] hovers over me, threatening me with physical and emotional abuse," he writes in the court documents.

Nancy - who was barred by a judge last month from going near Thomas or the kids - has responded by filing her own papers, which deny Beatie's allegations and state that he's the one who has gotten physical with her. Another hearing is scheduled for May 7.

Nokia reportedly delays Lumia 900 release in the UK, cites high US demand (update)

Despite remaining mum on how many Lumia 900s it's moved in the US, Nokia has been raving about how it's trying to keep up with demand for the flagship Windows Phone device. Consider us unsurprised, then, that the company has apparently delayed the phone's previous April 27th release date in the UK to "around May 14th," citing a need to keep the device stocked in the States. The news comes from V3.co.uk, which got the information from a Nokia spokesperson referring specifically to retailer Phones 4u. Update: And just like that, Phones 4u has officially confirmed the May 14th release date and UD demand.
